Tree Trimming

At Espinoza Tree Service, we genuinely love trees. We feel saddened when we see an incompetent tree service using the wrong equipment. It can take years for a tree to recover from a bad trimming, assuming it doesn't die. Don't take chances - whomever you hire, make sure they're properly equipped and qualified for the job.

At Espinoza Tree service, our work has always stood out as the best in our field. This is because we have the best people and the best equipment for the job. We were one of the first tree service companies in the Houston area to have a bucket truck (for safe and effective removal of cut branches) and also the first stump grinder. To this day, our equipment remains the top of the line. Our crew has many years of experience, and the owner is always on the job site working alongside his men.

There are many reasons for trimming and pruning your trees on a regular basis, including:

  • Trimming , pruning, and removing dead wood and awkward branches helps keep your trees beautiful and healthy, while enhancing grass coverage under the trees.
  • Thinning the tree's crown and canopy allows air and light to penetrate, and reduces the risk of disease and fungus.

Tree Removal

Tree removal, otherwise known as tree extraction, is the job of removing undesirable trees from an owner's property. Several criteria are often involved when a consumer desires to have a tree removed. Many times, the tree is diseased, dead, or of an undesirable species. Often, a tree may be dangerously close to a structure and the owner may wish to have it removed. At Espinoza Tree Service, we can assist you with deciding whether extraction is necessary. If extraction is required, we can get the removal done quickly and safely without threat to your existing structures. We have many years of experience in this area and have extracted hundreds of trees in and around the Houston metropolitan area.

Removal is recommended when:

  • The tree is dead or dying
  • The tree is considered irreparably hazardous
  • The tree is causing an obstruction that is impossible to correct through trimming
  • The tree is crowding or causing harm to other trees
  • The tree is to be replaced by a more suitable specimen
  • The tree has to be removed for new construction

Root Barrier Installations

Root barriers are installed to prevent the roots of a tree from growing under flatwork concrete like home foundations, sidewalks, or driveways. Roots can cause extensive damage to concrete by raising the concrete up as the root grows under it. An improper installation of a root barrier can damage, or even kill, a tree if it is done improperly. At Espinoza Tree Service, we have had many years of experience in proper root barrier installations, and we know how to do the job right.
